See the Cast of ‘The Three Musketeers’ Then and Now

Released in 1993, Disney's version of 'The Three Musketeers' starred an ensemble of '90s talent including Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland and Chris O'Donnell in the classic tale of D'Artagnan and his quest to join the legendary Musketeers, a trio of men sworn to protect the King of France. The film, which reunited 'Young Guns' stars Sheen and Sutherland, was a success at the box office (but poorly received by critics). Now, 21 years later, we take a look back at the cast and see what they're up to these days.

Then: Brad Pitt and Stephen Dorff turned down the role of young D'Artagnan, which went to emerging star Chris O'Donnell, who previously gained notice for roles in 'School Ties' and 'Scent of a Woman.' D'Artagnan's character sets out to join the legendary Three Musketeers.

Now: O'Donnell went on to star in 'Mad Love' and 'Circle of Friends' before landing the role of Robin in 'Batman Forever' and 'Batman and Robin.' He also appeared in 'The Bachelor,' 'Kinsey' and 'Max Payne.' O'Donnell guest starred on shows like 'Two and a Half Men' and 'The Practice,' and had a recurring role on 'Grey's Anatomy.' He currently stars on 'NCIS: Los Angeles.'

Kiefer Sutherland, Athos

Then: Kiefer Sutherland, star of films like 'The Lost Boys' and 'Stand by Me,' played Athos, a former nobleman who was once married to Lady Sabine de Winter, but he betrayed her to the authorities when he found out she was marked for execution.

Now: Sutherland went on to appear in several films, including ‘A Time to Kill,’ ‘Freeway,’ ‘Dark City,’ ‘L.A. Confidential’ and ‘Phone Booth.’ He played Jack Bauer on the hit Fox series ’24′ from 2001 to 2010, and he’ll reprise that role for a new limited series called ’24: Live Another Day.’ He also recently appeared in the films ‘Melancholia,’ ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ and ‘Pompeii’ (out this week).

Charlie Sheen, Aramis

His last live-action appearances were back in 2010 -- in the film 'Burke and Hare' and a two-episode guest spot on 'Criminal Minds.'

Now: Wincott continued to take dark roles in films like 'The Crow,' 'Strange Days,' 'Alien: Resurrection' and 'Along Came a Spider.' He recently played notorious serial killer Ed Gein in the 'Hitchcock' biopic with Anthony Hopkins, and can be seen next in the film 'Knight of Cups.' He'll also appear in the limited miniseries '24: Live Another Day,' reuniting him with his 'Three Musketeers' co-star Kiefer Sutherland.

Now: Anwar starred in the films 'Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead' and 'The Guilty,' and TV movies like 'Mysterious Island' and 'The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines.' She guest starred on 'The Practice' and 'Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,' and had a recurring role on the Showtime series 'The Tudors.'
